How FinBoss compares
Advisers shopping for FinBoss are usually holding one of three things: an AI notetaker, a CRM with AI bolted on, or a marketing platform with compliance routing. Each does its own job well. FinBoss runs the week across all of them, at a solo price, with an approval on every send. The table says where that is true, and the section after it says when the other tool is the better buy.
Competitor facts are from each vendor’s published pages as read on 2026-09-28. Ratings are ours. Vendors ship and reprice; check their page before you decide, and tell us at hello@finbossai.com if we have something wrong.

When the other tool is the better choice
A comparison a vendor wrote is only worth reading if it says this part plainly.
Choose Jump if
- · You want a bot in every Zoom, Teams or Google Meet call and in-person capture, and the notetaker is the whole job.
- · You keep your CRM and want the notes synced into it. Jump lists 30 to 40 integrations.
- · Your firm or broker-dealer has already approved Jump. Home-office approval is slow, and reusing it is worth a lot.
Choose Zocks if
- · Your compliance programme forbids meeting recordings. Zocks listens live and stores no recording.
- · You need archive connectors (Smarsh, Proofpoint, Global Relay) and PII redaction today, on a per-seat plan.
- · You keep your CRM and planning software and want form-fill and document extraction into them.
Choose Wealthbox if
- · You already run on Wealthbox and the switching cost (about two hours per client) is not worth paying. FinBoss imports your Wealthbox export; two-way sync is on the roadmap, not shipped.
- · The cheapest notetaker inside the CRM you know is enough, and you do not need marketing review, approvals or a tools engine.
- · You rely on Wealthbox's marketplace of integrations with your custodian, planner or archive.
Choose Practifi Sentir if
- · You are a firm with a Salesforce administrator and want Salesforce's customisation, reporting and ecosystem.
- · You want specialist agents by planning domain (tax, estate, philanthropy, business ownership) inside the CRM.
- · You already run Practifi and your data, workflows and integrations live there.
Choose FMG Suite if
- · You want a pre-approved, FINRA-reviewed content library and a website, or someone to run marketing for you.
- · Your marketing is a firm function with its own budget, separate from the adviser's desk.
- · Your compliance team already reviews through FMG's inbox and archives through Smarsh or Global Relay.
What FinBoss does not do
Advisers keep a planner for decades and an archive because the regulator says so. We would rather you kept them than bought FinBoss for the wrong job.
- A comprehensive planning engine
- Keep eMoney, MoneyGuide or RightCapital. FinBoss illustrates and prepares; it imports the plan summary.
- Custodial data, portfolio accounting, aggregation
- Balances are entered or imported with an as-of date and provenance; nothing is scraped.
- The compliance archive of record
- FinBoss produces the evidence: disclosures at publication, approvals, the archive entry. Enterprise pushes it to Smarsh, Global Relay or Proofpoint.
- A bot that joins your calls
- Notes, dictation or a transcript go in; the summary, tasks and proposed changes come out.
- Autonomous outreach or AI recommendations
- Max drafts and proposes. A person approves every send, publish and record change.
The short version
Notetakers have client context but no growth engine and no policy engine. Marketing platforms have compliance routing but no client context. CRMs have the record and are adding agents that re-skin their automations. Compliance platforms are priced for the firm with a CCO. FinBoss puts prep, follow-through, explainable opportunities, drafts screened against your review policy, a hash-bound approval on every external action in one product, priced for the firm without an administrator. If you need a bot in the call, a planning engine or the archive of record, the table above names who to buy that from.
